Bubble Machine

Part of Larien's interrupted but awesome birthday was a bubble machine. We first used it during the passing winds of Hurricane Ike, which caused bubbles to reach all the way to St. Charles Avenue. While that was an ugly day, and soon to be uglier for Texas and the lower parishes of Louisiana, the bubbles brought some levity to the day. This isn't the greatest photo, but it manages to convey Larien's joy.

Bubbles make everyone smile - no matter how young or old.

Happy belated birthday. I hope you escaped any serious weather consequences during Ike.
