My Tired Little Girl

While Grandmom and I were sewing on the first doll dress, Inwe and Larien were lounging while watching television. Both were tired from a half-day of school and from gymnastics. It was gymnastics that got them the most tired. The gym had set up a large moonbounce that was essentially an obstacle course. Each group of children got to go through the moonbounce at least three times with the final jump ending in a leap into the pit of foam cubes. When the girls found me in the waiting area their necks were sweaty from exertion.

Inwe nicely sat watching television. We soon realized that Larien wasn't making noise or moving. She had curled under the seat back cushion and was resting her head on top of the blanket. She woke up around 6pm. I was sure that she wouldn't sleep at night because of her late nap. This was not the case. She crawled in bed with Grandmom at 9pm and slept the entire night.
