Doll Dress

On Tuesday night, Inwe complained that her doll had outgrown all of her clothes. Grandmom stated that she could make her a dress. Inwe wanted to get started that night. We managed to talk her out of it with a promised trip to the fabric store to purchase a pattern and fabric.

We chose a simple tunic dress with no sleeves. Inwe chose the fabric. Between Grandmom's patient teaching and my attentive listening, we got one doll dress sewn in just an hour or so. Maybe it took a bit longer, but we had to explain every step to the girls and let them help do a few things.

I need to finish Larien's doll dress with the fabric that she chose. That's my project to do today. I just hope that the girls don't start asking me to sew them dresses. I can probably handle more doll dresses.
