This past Friday I attended a parent/teacher conference regarding Larien. Here are the written comments.
Larien has blossomed in peer relations since her arrival at Little Gate. She is very caring and kind child and has developed many strong relationships with her peers.
Larien is able to write both her first and last names with a strong grip and really enjoys drawing. She is very active outdoors, both running and climbing.
Larien is responsible with school materials, and we can always count on her to put things in their proper places. We are so proud of her improvements with morning drop-off.
Larien loves to talk and is easy to understand. She enjoys any type of art activity and is often having tea parties in dress-up.
Larien takes a strong interest in all of our themes, and we love when she brings things from home. She enjoys story time and listening to books on tape.
Larien is a very creative and imaginative child. We have seen such improvement in her actions and are so proud of her. We have really enjoyed having her as a Turquoise Elephant.

Well those are all very nice comments! good job!
I'm so glad that she is doing so well.
I wasn't quite expecting to read "Turquoise Elephant" at the end!
I know, Trixie, it does jar the senses. This preschool is divided that way due to the varying ages of the kids. One can't say the two-year old class, because, in Finwe's case, he'll only be two for 29 days. The rest of the year he'll be three. Larien is in a 3-year-old class, but she's been four since entering it. Therefore, like Pre-K through 12, another label is used. There are Busy Bees, Frogs, and Elephants.
