We took an adventure in high cuisine with children in attendance. We visited Commander's Palace, the neighborhood restaurant of the Garden District. The children had Shirley Temples to drink, the best pancakes I have ever tasted with sugar cane syrup, and ice cream served in a pecan cookie bowl. No one fussed or made a huge spill. I'd say the adventure ended well.

Those are some stylin' kids! I love looking at their expressions and just trying to imagine what they are thinking. Finwe looks SO serious and both the girls look like they could soar in the clouds on their dreams.
