Overcoming Her Fear

I knew from the panic in her eyes that the ascent of the elevator to the top of the sombrero caused the same fear that I experienced. We crouched on the floor of the elevator together, as if making ourselves shorter made the height less fearsome. She hugged the inner wall of the tower, like me. Even as I checked my feet for some unknown hole in the floor, I saw Inwe making the same visual checks. We both conquered our fear at the same time.
