Larien was not tired. She required no nap. I was amazed at how well she did at both birthday parties. She's lively. She's friendly. She's a team player who isn't afraid to call the shots.
The last party held the most fascination for me as a parent. The party was small--four girls who share a preschool class. There was not one whine, no tantrums, no conflicts for the entire two hours of the party. They all ate dinner, sitting at a small table, with no nudges from parents. The cake and milk became communal cooking time as they experimented with frosting in the cups.
Today was a good day for Larien.
