Let's Balance the Gloating

Just in case you think I'm feeling very smug about the girls choosing fruit as their treat, I should tell you about our week at my mother's house.

All grandmothers should have a freezer stocked with ice cream. It is one of those requirements so that the parents can say, "You never did that when I was little." It's in a book somewhere. Honest.

My mother is a good grandmother. Not only is her freezer full of ice cream in individual serving cups easy for little ones to open, but her freezer is on the bottom. Inwe had no trouble opening the drawer so that she could begin each day with a Moo Bar, which I think is a chocolate coated vanilla ice cream bar. I don't know as I never got a chance to check it out. She ate them that quickly.

Inwe enjoyed her Moo Bars so much, maybe too much. One day, after having three Moo Bars, she said to me, "I've decided that two Moo Bars a day is enough."
