I heard Larien call from the top of the steps, "Mommy?"
"Yes, Larien," I answered as I was wrestling with Finwe to get his diaper changed.
"Is this my diarrhea?"
Images of drippy, brown goo running down her legs entered my mind. Surely, I had misheard her. "Your what?"
Her voice grew insistent. "Is this my diarrhea?"
I fastened a new diaper on the now standing Finwe. "Larien, did you just go poopy?"
Now her voice registered impatience. "No, Mommy. Come see my diarrhea!"
"Okay, okay." What would I see? How gross would this clean up be?
When I got to the base of the stairs I saw Larien holding a pink book with blank pages. She held it out asking, "Is this my diarrhea?"
"Yes, Larien. That is your diary."
I spent the next ten minutes teaching her how to say the word correctly.

**Big sigh of relief**
I was afraid of where that one was going!
Okay, that one goes in the same book as the purple flowers on the pastas! And she is only 3 - tell my darling friend that I love her.
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
I loved the sound of panic in your voice!
