Larien absolutely, totally, completely refused to go into the pool. Okay, fine. I expected that. Did I mention that I will never do outside swimming lessons again?
Inwe did well. She can tread water for 30 seconds. She can nearly accomplish the rhythmic breathing required for freestyle, and she does a wonderful backstroke.
Perhaps the best news of the day is that while discussing school with Rosie's mom, we discovered that Inwe and Rosie will be in kindergarten together. This means that Inwe will know three of the kids in the class. Another plus is that I like the mom.
