School Report

After I had hauled Larien from the school while simultaneously listening to Inwe tell me everything under the sun that happened in kindergarten and lugging Finwe under the other arm, I asked her what she liked about school.

"Everything."

"What did you do?"

"Color and play and talk and listen and play. I like Mrs. B. Mrs. B is nice. MmmmHmmm."

I asked Inwe the same questions. She liked everything. Her praise of her teacher was as much as Larien's. I would have to agree. Mrs. M exudes kindergarten teacher in her demeanor, her dress, and her enthusiasm. She's the woman I would have wanted for my kindergarten teacher.

Inwe's answer to the What did you do question took longer to answer. I know patterns were discussed, because as Inwe told me, "A pattern can be A-B-A-B, or it can be A-B-B-A-B-B." She wrote her numbers. There was some book reading. There was running around on the field. According to Inwe, "It was a good day."
