The Girls Try Crawfish

Larien, who is on a kick to try different foods, asked to try crawfish. Here, there is a grocery store that markets itself as having the Bayou Boys foor cooks. On Friday-Sunday during the height of crawfish season, you can buy fresh boiled crawfish. Phill and I indulged for lunch (not really an indulgence as 1/2 a cup of crawfish tails is 1 WeightWatchers point, which translates to about 15 crawfish). We peeled one for Larien. She ate it and asked for more. Yeah, baby, we'll get her to like seafood.

Inwe, however, while brave enough to try a bite (and it is bravery, mudbugs are rather ugly), didn't like the taste at all. We give her thumbs up for the effort.
