What Finwe Eats

I basically gave my 10 month old son pork and beans tonight.

Finwe likes meat. I don't like the mashed up baby food meat. The alternative is to buy the very thinly sliced lunch meat and give small pinches to him. Finwe zeros in on these bits even in the midst of many other foods. Tonight, I gave him ham.

I also had some leftover vegetarian baked beans (the girls don't like the fatback or bacon that can be found in the other, traditional types). I gave him some of those. He couldn't shove those in his mouth fast enough.

For desert, he had mandarin oranges. I think I read somewhere to avoid citrus foods in the first year, but I'm not following that rule. I didn't give him a bite of my crab cake tonight. No shellfish yet. But I have a feeling he'll shove that in as well.

WaWa loved this post. He said that real men don't eat quiche! But then I reminded him that he loves my quiche to which he replied that it had chorizo sausage in it and THAT was what he loved. WaWa is all about the pork, the beans, and the mandarian oranges!
