Letter of the Day

That is the letter of the day. I'm not homeschooling the kids, but I just can't help myself. If I'm going to sit down with them and color, we are going to learn something. I do it when we are outside as well. There I point out bugs or beetles or bees. We compared different bees the other day. We have bumble bees and honey bees and one bee that we call a sweat bee.

So, back to the letter of the day. I copied a letter tracing sheet so that both Inwe and Larien could participate. We traced the letters, both lower and uppercase, discussed the sound that it makes, and then came up with words that started with "K". When kite was mentioned, Inwe suggested that we make a kite for a craft. We did. I'll get pictures tomorrow.
