We ventured out as a family to ride bikes, deciding that Larien could learn to balance on two wheels. Inwe and Finwe rode around as Phill taught Larien. Each time I helped she couldn't steer. I kept away after a few attempts.
Inwe took two spills in the parking lot and one on the bike trail. Phill won the day of injuries as he gave himself a concussion by closing the bike rack onto his head. He's still laying in the bed.
Larien got the hang of riding without anyone helping. She can nearly start herself as well. After a few more tries at bike riding, she'll be able to do the Audubon Park loop with Inwe and Phill. Me? I'll either tow Finwe or play with him on the playground. Biking as a family is getting to be more of a possibility.
Finwe would like to remind you that he's number one boy.

Well, I'm glad to see Larien is making progress with the bike riding - there is still hope for Daisy. She has trouble with the steering part, too. I think (hope) part of the problem is that her bike is too small and Rosie's is too big. She is getting a proper size bike for her birthday next week.
Tell Phill we hope he feels better soon! Oh, and hugs to Inwe for her knee.
Glad that yall are having a good time.
