One day he will eat a cookie and the only evidence will be the empty container. The chocolate won't be smeared from ear to ear and nose to chin. He'll remember to use a spoon to get the peanut butter from the jar instead of his hand. And on that day, I will remember how messy he would get when he was two. Maybe I'll remember with my muscles how he settled his head on my shoulder as I sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" before setting him in the crib that barely held him. I hope I will hear his small voice echoing in my head, "I want my bears on. Goodnight, Mommy. I wuv ooo." Oh, I hope I can remember that.

You will remember - because you need to print this and put it somewhere for you to read and read.
Awwww! Your kids amaze me every single day with their bundled-up sweetness!
