The first thing that new parents should be told is that babies do not need expensive toys. A friend once told me, "Heck, you could go to the plastic pipe section of the hardware store, spend $3 and have a really happy baby." For the most part, he's right. Finwe (and my daughters) play with measuring cups, measuring spoons, one huge plastic ladle, a wooden cooking spoon, a plastic step stool, an old non-working telephone, a set of house keys from after we changed the locks, and the box of wipes. Who knew that pop-up wipes would be so darn exciting?

Hee hee hee! Isabelle enjoys tissue. I guess pop up wipes would be better so she doesn't have little pieces of tissue in her mouth.
