This is my favorite accessory for the older baby: the backpack carrier. This is used for shopping in the grocery store or in this case shopping in a yarn store for Mango Salsa's soon to be new baby.Finwe loves the backpack. He is now tall enough that he digs his feet in at the waist band using it as a toe hold for bouncing. If he is interested in what I'm doing I can feel him push with his left leg so that he can look around the right side of my head.
The pack is quite worn now from three kids. The picture of Phill and Inwe below is dark, but the backpack was a dark navy. It is now a faded blue jean. Strangely enough, I can't find a picture of Larien in the backpack, although I know I used it for her as well.
